Transmitter 04:12
Snow falls down as pictures realign The subject fills the frame Fine-tune your eyes Contrasting waves capsize To form the settling scene Facilitate signals across the land Transmit the brightest blue We can voice opinions we don’t believe in The silence on the screen rings true It goes around…. Run to the fields
2.
Haunted 04:25
We stand upon eight tonnes of stone Abandoned on these empty shores We disappeared and washed up here It’s all intended, it’s what we wanted Our setting sun, our raised alarms We wrote our wrongs down Then altered all Tried to break all the great mistakes Like we wanted, all we wanted I never told a living soul How we were haunted by all the stories And how we sailed and how we sank It’s in our bloodlines, it’s in our blood now Tried to break all the great mistakes Like we wanted, all we wanted How the distant fall, all we fight for Cause we’re haunted, yeah we’re haunted
3.
Subside 04:59
We won’t rest till morning comes around In still light remnants can be found An unlikely chain of events Brought us back to now Unconsciously waiting in line For something to give out Untimely ghosts that hover through Your past, come back to life As morning fades the dust still show The broken days, the sorrow flows throughout But I won’t let you down We won’t rest till we hear our calling sound I need you here more than time allows Untimely ghost that hover…. And it won’t mean a thing Till we let it all subside No it won’t mean a thing Till we let it all subside It won’t change a thing Till we let it all subside No it won’t change nothing Till we let it all subside
4.
Day by day I dream in pollarised conversations, distant regions collide We don’t sleep well Watch our past times collide.

Seadog is the project of Brighton-based musician and songwriter Mark Benton. It began with Benton at the nucleus of an ever-changing cast of musical friends, until meeting Max Numajiri whilst studying at Brighton Uni, alongside the likes of Natasha Khan of Bat For Lashes and Jo Mount of Metronomy. Mark and Max cemented their musical bond by combining their mutual creative leanings and gathered an eclectic troupe of performers to record this fresh collection of dream-pop songs.
